I hear you.

I'm nocturnal. Hearing people complain about the one hour is a little funny to me - I have to stay up way past my normal sleep time to go to church Sunday mornings, or whenever people expect me during the week to be somewhere (meetings, appointments, etc) mid-morning. Even that one hour change twice a year supposedly isn't good for your health, though, from studies done on the daylight saving time, so I can't complain too much if people don't like it.

My schedule is a bit like being jet lagged every weekend. I looked it up: I'm essentially on New Zealand time, even though I'm an East Coaster.

I like working and staying up nights, though. Never really was an energetic morning/afternoon person... well, not late morning, anyway. I like sunrise and sunset.

I don't get an "extra" hour. I get back what was stolen in the spring. My internal clock's fucked up until things get back to normal time. I like Ben Franklin a lot, but if I could get a high interest loan to go back in time, and kick him in the balls, I'd take it in a heart beat.

I get up early no matter what. I think the latest I've slept in in the last 10 years in maybe 8am.

And if you have a baby at home, they wake you up to remind you how stupid DST is.

Yeah, I've been up for the last 3 hours and it has fuck all to do with DST. Damn infants. Oh, you looked like you wanted to be up at 4:30am on a Sunday...
