I've been looking into getting some sort of watercooling setup, I would prefer an external system my case is small and cramped as hell the way it is. I just can't seem to find anything. I waslooking at the Koolance cases, with the Exos-2( I think) built in/added on top. which claim 1000w heat disipation, which would be great, but nobody seems to like them and at $600 w/o a water block is a tad steep imo. So what recommendations do you guys have as far as external watercooling systems, would like to keep the price around 700. currently running a AM2 3800, planing on either x2 6000 or E6600 when intel's price drops... don't need too much, the 3800 does ok just seems a lil sluggish at times.

on a bit of a side note, why aren't there any RAM waterblocks/sleeves? I know I saw OCZ has RAM with them installed, just a waste of money? I know newegg had some sort of sleeve but the reviews were really bad, and from newegg thats saying a lot....

If you are thinking about water cooling, skip Koolance and look at stuff from Swiftech and browse around shops like Xoxide, FrozenCPU, or Performance-PCS.

There are good options for watercooling in a small space. If he doesn't find this thread, PM forum member aigomorla. I'm sure he would help out. He has a sticky near the top of Cases and Cooling.

You could also check out the Swiftech Forums and get a question or two answered by people who make this kind of stuff for a living.

Buy a bigger case and buy an internal one... it will perform better and you will save money

newls1(at)bellsouth.net

Email that guy. His name is seth. Tell him naekuh from XS refered you.

He makes the NEWLS1 waterkeg. Its a bit pricey, but hands down it can handle almost anything you throw at it.

The only thing i wouldnt recomend throwing on it is a quadcore with 2 8800GTX.

But anything besides that, it will handle it just fine.

it would take a ton of work to get an internal performing as good as that waterkeg III.

I got bored with my watercooling and put dual loops internal. My original external solution that was the lesser performer on paper gave me around the same results.
