i was wondering if there was any type of external video card (kinda like a harddrive) the main reason would be for laptops that have a crappy video card. i'm thinking of buying an AMD laptop from HP and the only video card it has as a choice is ATI Radeon Xpress 200M which i heard doesnt have too good of performance. if there isnt one then they should make one cause i think it wold help out a lot of people who wish to game on laptops, but have a crappy video card

you would also have to have an seperate monitor, you wouldnt be able to use it away from your desk.

usb and FW id imagine would give not very nice performance at all. I think it might need some hybrid port / adapter to internal bus that can transfer gigabytes per second. Interesting idea, yes.
