External USB or >= 4 output internal video cards

I'm looking into getting my comp to have more than 2 displays (perhaps 10 or more even). I was wondering if anyone knew of any, or have experience with any...

I think I would need it to atleast have DirectDraw capability, and maybe Direct3D as well, although they wouldn't be running anything intensive at all. The higher the resolution capable the better.

You should buy a video card thats capable of 8 outputs. Thats the highest I've seen, but I'm sure for a premium you can get a card that can do more. If you have a laptop, then I'm sure your thinking in the right direction (a USB solution).

I've seen cards with 4 outputs...where do you find 8?

Also, I'm looking for cheap options as well...
Cards with 4 outputs cost $400 each @ newegg....

I think it might be hard to find a cheap option here...thats kind of a niche product, and people doing it on the cheap probably just install extra PCI cards.
