I'm looking for one. I found the Universal BUSlink 17.0GB USB Hard Drive, but that's a bit pricey. Does anyone know of one that's 4-10 GB?

Also, could I transfer something from my current HD to a USB HD and then transfer it from the USB HD to a new HD?
 
There really aren't that many options in the USB hard drive category. If you can spend a little more, I would recommend going firewire. USB drives are really slow. Under the best of conditions it will take around 20 minutes to transfer a GB. If you are trying to back up a 10GB drive or so, you're talking over 3 hours.
 
Yeah, I've been looking and the one I mentioned is definitely the cheapest. I want to transfer a lot of files from one computer to another, at least a gigabyte. Of course, I would probably use the drive as backup as well. Thanks

Do you think it would be worth it to pay 10 dollars more for 3 more GB?
