External USB Hard Drive Question

I have a Dell Latitude D610 and I'm looking for a good External USB hard drive to have a secondary operating system on to boot to. Can anyone suggest a good External USB hard drive for this application?
 
Buy a regular internal HDD and buy an external HDD enclosure, it'll cost less than buying an external HDD straight up.
