I have installed windows 2000 with SP2 and i have trouble installing an ide disk in an external usb case.
In disk management under administrative tools the disk apeears as a revomavle device and i can't format it. In device
manager although under the tab disk drives i can see the model and capacity of the disk, i also get a generic device
which i think is the cause of the problem. Any help?
