External USB Drive I wrote backup cmds to in Linux and now drive is Write Protected.

I was in the OCZ SSD software and started the linux backup software (Not the Acronis software). Now the Hitachi 640GB HDD I can't get a MBR to take or a format of the drive or low level format. Some of the errors I get are IO errors and when I try HP software it says, Write Protected.

Any help?
