At the moment I have about 4 internal IDE hard drives in external enclosures plugged into my main PC through USB or Firewire. I just want to tidy this up a bit, as I keep having to switch them on and off when I want to use them and I never know which plug is for which hdd. Is there some sort of rack I could put them all in which allows me to easily access/manage them + have it available to my laptop when I plug it into my small home network?
This caught my eye the other day, but appeared a bit pricey. Would I be able to use my existing hdds with this - would that mean it would be significantly cheaper?
