External storage interface options - which is best

So if I want my home network running XP PRO to be able to access (sumultaneously) a large storage facility for videos or what ever, which off these is going to be my best option?

Same question for dedicated single PC access?

Thanks.

Bob.

The only one you can hook up to more than one system at once is Ethernet.

Probably accessing it over Ethernet would be fastest, then FW, then USB.

Unless you're running a TCP/IP over FireWire network in your house, everything is going to end up on Ethernet anyways.

Might as well start there, make sure everything's on gigabit, and load up with storage space. 😀

I agree with Matthias's order of precedence. And the Ethernet wired will be faster than wireless.
