We are looking at replacing our conference room tape recording system with a software based one. However the laptops in the conference rooms only have 1 mic port and 1 headphone port. So I was looking for a external sound card that I could plug our 2 1/8" mic's into.
So far all I've found have been for professional mic's with larger inputs or sound cards with 1 mic in and 1 Line in. I may be able to use the Line in as a second mic in, however I read that would require a pre-amp due to voltage differences.
Any help would be appreciated.
