External SATA raid - help wanted!

I want to take 2 SATA drives and set them up in an external enclosure to achieve a Raid zero array for backups and external storage for my system. I would prefer to use USB 2.0 or Firewire to hook up the enclosure and need some help in setting up the hardware (anyone point me to an enclosure?) and software. I know my abit board supports raid for internal drives if that is a plus.
