We have several printers (HP, Lexmark, IBM) that do not have internal network cards. I bought a couple of Hawking HPS1P parallel printservers to get the printers on the network. I am discovering that they have internal DHCP servers in them. I have this function "disabled", but everyonce in a while, I get an issue that a computer can't connect to anything. the DHCP server specified is the print server. I am in the process of calling and retting these replaced. If they don't have anything to replace these with, and getting intenals, are not cost effective, do any of you have recommendations on what brands to use that work well with 2000/2003 server?
