is there such a thing as an external on/off switch for my new spare parts rig?, i just replaced a bad mobo/psu and the case is a standard acer mini tower, so off course with my luck the case's jpanel connectors are all grouped together and off course it doesent line up right for with the new mobo, is there sucha thing as a external on/off switch i can just mount to the top of my case to turn the comp on/off?

please help 🙂

Er...

Are you saying the connectors do not have the proper pin-out pin-in wiring sequence as the headers on your mobo?

If so, 99.9% of the time, you can use a jeweler's screwdriver to remove the individual wires from the connector and rearrange them in whatever order you want... 😉

As Vin said, as long as there are enough locations in the shell to match up with the pins you have on your front panel header, you can move the contacts around in the shell to match what your header has. Here's how - I find a small knife blade works well in removing the contacts.
