External mouse connected to USB is not working after running windows update.

Did this happen to anyone? I uninstalled all the hotfixes and it worked fine. reinstalled them and it stopped working.😕
 
have you tried unplugging it / plugging it back in 😛

Seriously though, what mouse are you using, have you checked for updated drivers from the manufacturer etc? 🙂
 
it is a microsoft notebook optical mouse and it always worked. i just plug it in the usb.
i uninstall the hotfixes, it works. when i install them, it stops working. weird 😀
 
also it is a usb mouse and it did not come with any cd. microsoft site does not have any drivers for "notebook optical mouse"
