Hey guys,
I have this problem thats occurring to my friends laptop where if you hook up an external monitor (Dell2209WA) to the laptop, it causes a yellow tint on the monitor (Laptop screen was fine). This seems to be a well known occurring problem for many people.
Ive tried replugging the monitor (DVI-HDMI connector) to see if it was a connector and that doesn't seem to be the issue. Nor was their any visible bent pins. Contrast/brightness settings along with input color mode have no effect.
Also tried to just show desktop on the external monitor and that did not help. Funny thing is that if you connect the monitor to another PC (as the only display), it is perfectly fine.
Any suggestions to fix this problem or any has encountered this before?
