We have a guy in our office that when he takes his laptop workstation out of the office to use in retrieving his e-mail while he is out of the office, then when he comes back into the office and places his laptop back into the docking station, when he initially boots the laptop in the docking station, his external keyboard and mouse are not functional when he gets booted to the desktop - the laptop keyboard & laptop mouse work fine.
He has to reboot/restart the laptop and then the external keyboard and mouse become functional again.
He also has problems that when he returns to the office, that all of his printer setups are sometimes (but not always) gone. Sometimes this is a matter of the printer spool not being started but other times the printer spool is O.K. but still there is NO listing of printers, either local or network types.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing these problems ?
Thanks.
