Hi all

I would like to buy an external HDD and I am wondering are those things Plug & Play or I would have to carry around with me a CD with drivers?
 
If the system is WinXP (and probably Win2k), you won't need drivers. Win9x systems will need drivers.

And, if it's formatted with NTFS, Win9x won't even be able to see the partition.

and while we are still on the topic. Is it true that the Creative Zen Touch 20/40GB need actually a driver even under XP? I have seen few treads around with different points of view.
