External HD enclosure

I have an external HD enclosure that can support a HD up to 300GB. If I purchase a 320GB internal HD and put it in my PC and partition it into 2-160GB sectors, then transfer the HD to the external enclosure, will it be able to see both partitions?

That seems funny that your enclosure only supports 200 gigs. What kind of enclosure is it?

My mistake, it supports up to 300GB. That means it can't read 320GB, but will it read 2-160GB partitions?

If that is indeed the Case (200Gig limit) then it probably won't work as the HD has to be identified as a whole before it can be read split up.
