I have an external WD firewire HD, when I reboot my system, it freezes, if I unplug the firewire cable it comes back to life. Any ideas? I runs fine unless I reboot.

no boot option for firewire. am i suppose to do the safe to remove device thing when i reboot or shut down the system? or just if i need to unplug it?

I guess turning it off would be recommended... never heard of this issues before, though, so I'm just as clueless as you are.
