External Hard Drive

Hey folks, I'm going to have to upgrade 20 computers at various locations in the field this fall. I need to backup the data on these machines before I change out the O/S. None of them have more than 4 or 5 Gb, but I would like to do this as quick as I can. Any thoughts about external hard drives versus tape drives, etc?

You may want to forgo the backup drive and just carry a Spare HD and connect to that.

Would be much quicker than a External solution.

The way I usually do it is Ghost drive to drive, Update main drive, then pull data needed off Ghost drive.
That way, if something should go wrong, you have the original image to work with.

Just a suggestion.
