I'm currently using a USB 2.0 hard drive and I was wondering if anyone knows what the transmit rate bottleneck is. Is there a benchmarking tool that I can use to compare rates, although this is going to compare my 120 GB 8 MB cache 7200 rpm maxtor diamondmax and my 40 GB 5400 rpm Hitachi. Thanks.
