External Hard Drive not connecting to PC

I cant tell if its my PC (see specs in sig, still using old PC), or if its my 80GB Iomega External Hard Drive. There arent any drivers for WinXP, Iomega's Website says that WinXP already has drivers for it... I have checked, the power supply to the unit is there, and the USB Cable from my External Hard Drive has been plugged into all 10 ports (4x2.0 from PCI Card; 6x1.1 motherboard/front), all get the same error. I hear the hard drive boot, and have tried three USB Cables. Whats wrong? It used to connect fine, I have basically put 65GB onto the hard drive, used to be no problems.

When I plug it in, I hear the little sound when WinXP recognizes something was connected (that dun da, exept it makes this dundundun really fast, like it freezes). Then when I disconnect, it recognizes the drive has disconnected (making that da dun sound)...

I have no other computer at the moment, and my 160GB Seagate only has 2gb left... What is the problem? The WinXP Device Manager says that "This Device Cannot Start (Code 10)". I looked on google, I didnt get much help. Anyways, anyone know how to fix? Thanks in advance 🙂
