External Hard Drive for Iraq

Hello all. I'm getting ready to deploy to Iraq. I've got my personal laptop and my government laptop. We are allowed to hook up external drives to them. I'm looking for a HIGH capacity drive to hook up and be available to pass around. We are looking to use it primarily for personal uses (cartoons, music, letters, pictures, and such). Newegg has a Seagate 400GB external. I'm just wondering if you guys have any other guidance or suggestions.
