External Hard Disk Mode in Windows?

I know I do this with my PowerBook and other Apple computers. I can hold down the 'T' key when booting up and it turns the computer into an external firewire drive that can be mounted onto other Apple systems. Does Windows do anything like this? I wouldn't even know what connection interface to use. Only the original firewire is identical on both ends.

Just a question. Any ideas?

Nothing equiv in windows (really would be more of a bios feature). Didn't know the powerbooks did that, pretty cool (can see how that would be very usefull for disaster recovery and other odds and ends)
