External Firewire enclosures---5.25" format

Anyone ever used one of these for a CD-RW? I want to connect a Plextor 40/12/40A through the firewire interface on a SB Audigy Platinum EX. Having the CDRW on the desk is much more convenient!

I have used it with a 24X liteon and audigy. Works great.
