External battery pack for MBP?

Hi all,

So the dean's office is paying for 75% of the cost of a long-life battery for our laptops. As I have a unibody MBP with one of the nice 7+ hr batteries in it, I don't need a new battery, but I heard that you can get an external battery pack which you can plug in to your laptop to charge it.

Anyone have experience with anything like this? Which ones are good?

If your getting 75% of the cost covered, I'd go for the beastliest one which would give you over 50 hours of battery time (according to them).

Yeah I came across those guys and others. I was hoping someone could offer some first hand experience with a particular model.
