Looking at the Anker Astro 3E 10000mAh Portable High Capacity Dual-Port External Battery Power Bank Backup Charger to charge a cell/tablet when the battery is low and there is no power source around.

Would nice to charge a laptop by plugging in the AC adapter into such a device to charge it's battery.

Do they make such a device to accommodate both?

Give it a go to try RavPower 10400mAh, it's got a cheaper price than Anker 10000mAh which has less power.

It's kinda unfortunate how few choices there are in the US. These products have been massively popular in Asia for some time. If anyone has other suggestions than Anker or RavPower that would be great to know. The only other alternative I've seen is Patriot, but even their 7800mah power pack is a ripoff.

The RayPower doesn't seem to accept AC current or have a plug to convert to.
Want to be able to charge a laptop battery as well as mobile devices.

Most people prefer to just get a larger laptop battery and let it charge overnight.

Any device that charged directly would likely be proprietary as well as huge. I dont see it as feasible to carry around all day.

Unfortunately, there is twice the potential efficient loss for laptop chargers (powerbank->120/240V, 120/240V->12v that the laptop charger uses

There are other brands who have that functionality

I carry a Black & Decker car starter in my trunk for emergencies. It also has 120volt outlets but I think charging a laptop would be a waste of power. Plus its huge and heavy so I'd have to run out to my car in the middle of the day just to use it.

Much better to get a bigger battery and make sure its plugged in over night.
Trouble is the Toshiba Portege line doesnt have many accessories.

Don't know which model is your PC. They have a 15000mAh that can charge 12A PC, normally that's for mini PC. I think ours are mainly 19A so probably it doesn't work. I have looked around for you but there's not the one that fits you the best. I think the worst thing is you can get 2 separate at the time.

AC is pretty much out of the question. You're talking charging a 70,000mAh+ device with a 10,000mAh one.
