I don't know that this is a drive so much as some sort of external casing for an internal model...could be wrong though...

I really have no idea to tell the truth...but good luck nonetheless!

Um, I think it's just a USB cable for the drive or something

I'm guessing it is the USB ADAPTER with the cable FOR the CDRW; not the CDRW itself.

The title and category that it is listed under makes it sound like it's an adapter to make the drive be able to connect using usb.

<< USB ADAPTER MICROSOLUTIONS W/CABLE F/BACKPACK DR >>

The reference to cdrw is just a description of what this cable is for.

I still think it's the drive. For instance, the weight. 4.5 LBS is about right for the whole thing, but seems AWFUL heavy for just a USB adaptor. We shall see, I picked Airborn so I'll know Tuesday. Let's hope...

ummm I do believe this is the USB adaptor that will go to these two drives:

Drive Uno

and Drive Dos (he he)

I did a search using CD-R and USB and these drives came up-theya re the "backpack" brand and this is the adaptor to convert them to USB.
(I think they are external)

I'm not the geekiest lil critter but savvy internet shopping IS my bag!!

I too fell for this deal - and called them up.

2 things... 1 they are out of stock of this 'item'
2 it is just the cable

I saw this over a week ago, slipped in an order and called the next day to try to find a tired CRS to verify. After establishing that this was just the cable and cancelling my order, I asked him to pass along that the page needed to be updated pronto.

Apparently it hasn't been.

Yup, it's just the cable.
