external 2.5" enclosure with power switch

do they make any 2.5" usb hard drive enclosures with a on/off power switch, looked at lots on newegg, none of them have a way to tell there are no read/writes going to the drive before it's unplugged.

if you unplug the usb drive without turning it off first, isn't there a chance of data loss or messing up the drive itself?

That's why you use the Safely Remove Hardware tool on your taskbar to eject the USB drive before removing it.

Or disable write caching, which shouldn't be enabled on removable drives anyway.
