I got FIOS installed yesterday. But the signal is pretty weak when I go to the 2nd floor. I'm trying to use my linksys router as a wired bridge.

I changed the router’s connection type to bridge mode. I changed the name to FIOS-Ext and saved the changes. The router rebooted but now i cannot find it as a wireless network.

The linksys router (E2500) is plugged into one of the Ethernet Ports on the FIOS router (G1100).

Hi

I do not know why you started a second thread for the same issue.

The easy way o solve is with a wire. Since your MacBook does Not have simple Ethernet buy for $15 a Thunderbolt or USB-C to Ethernet.

Example - https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Adapter-Maxonar-Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B08JGL51M4/

You need to make sure that the G-1100 and the E2500 are on the same subnet.

An an example if the G-1100 is 192.168.1.1 put the E2500 on 192.186.1.10
