Does anyone know of any current uses for ExpressCard? I like having it, but I'm currently unable to even find peripherals for it.

Right now, none. Few OEM's are carrying ExpressCard products, but expect a lot more in Q106. Current planned uses are TV tuners, Firewire ports, additional storage (flash or HDD based?), and anything else you can think of that sucks up bandwidth.
 
Yeah, there aren't any vendors with ExpressCard that I know of. Oh well, it seems that the demand for it isn't too high. Though expect more in 2006-2007.
