What is the easiest way to migrate all the data from my outlook express in 98 to the new system in outlook XP.

Addresses and messages are what we want here

Address book is easy. Just load up your Window address book and export.
I don't know how to transfer from OE messages to Outlook messages though.

WinXP has a good File and Settings Transfer Wizard built in to do this kind of stuff though. Start->Programs->Accessories->System tools.

In OLEXP on the Win98 machine, go to tools, options, maintenance, store directory. This is where all of your messages are located. Go to this folder and copy all of these files to a CD, hdd, or whatever.

Then open OLEXP on the WinXP machine and go to file, import, messages, from OLEXP, store directory. Point OLEXP to the location of the files click import all.

Wouldn't this work in Outlook Express?
File > Export > Messages
File > Export > Addresses

It says that it's for exporting to MS Outlook or MS Exchange.
