Exporting emails and Address book... How?

How do I quickly save my Address book and All me Emails (sent/recieved) to a file, so I can back them up?

Last time I tried, I ended up with a .EML file or something for every single email.

if you're using outlook express, you have to find the folder where the .dbx files are stored.

I'm using MS Outlook 2000 (from Office 2000).

I think the Address book is just the standard Windows Address Book (which is integrated into Outlook Express and Outlook 2000).

for oulook express (same as outlook I think)open address book, then file/export/address book, and name it and save it. Not sure on the emails part

When I am in Address Book, Import and Export are grayed out.
