exporting addresses from MS Outlook

Anyone know how to or what file the addresses in MS Outlook "address book" are stored in?

I succesfully migrated from an W2K to XP and brought over most of my environment (e.g. saved mail folders - .PST, desktop items and and Explorer Favorites - BUT the address book names didn't come over.

I though they'ed be in the .PST file - evedently not.

thanks

Dave

Couldn'nt find a .pab on my system but did find a .pip that got modified after adding a new contact.

Guessing that is it - I'll move it over to see if it works.

ktwebb, the export only provided for mail export but nothing for contacts, thats why I thought the contacts were included in the .pst

also followed instructions for finding .pab w/ search results comming up not found.

You can Export the contacts ... click to select the contatcs folder
then go the to file export option .. it will give a few choices about
ways to export it .. I would do it both as a .pst file and also as a
windows .csv file
