Ok. Maybe one of you Excel wizards can help me out here. I've got an exported database file from a custom piece of software. The excel file is basically inventory information for retail items. The excel file contains both English, which displays fine, as well as Chinese which does not display as anything but gibberish. The Chinese text is there. I can change the file type to txt or doc file and text editors like Word or Notepad will properly display the Chinese text, though I lose out on the formatting.
How the hell do I get Excel to properly display the Chinese text? I can provide a sample of the Excel spreadsheet.
