exponents and factorials on TI83 calculator?

Factorials should be in "math" somewhere.

Exponents... should be a "2nd" key function.

exponents you can just use the ^ sign which is above the division symbol...
factorials go to math, then right right arrow until you get to PRB, and #4 is !(factorials)

Thanks! Found factorials but still can't find exponents on the darn thing..

use the carrot (^) symbol. i.e. 4 to the 5th power looks like this "4^5"

lol i'd like to claim that i just wasn't thinking, but i've never actually seen it spelled. I KNEW there was something wrong with that 3rd-grade-explanation that it was called a "carrot" because it looked like the end of the vegetable...
