It is most certainly ISIS, no question on that,

So why bring the PKK into it if not to muddy the waters? (Theres plenty of terrorist groups active in the world, why not try to include them as well?)

... however there are no "good terrorists". Both sides (PKK & ISIS) are blasting bombs nowadays in Turkey so I am just sayin'

Turkey hasn't really been behaving like a paragon of international values recently either. Just sayin'

Europe let these clowns in, as many as can come. The fuck did they expect was going to happen? Europe, get your shit in order. Stop the insanity.

This won't stop. Europe will get more of this. Control your fucking borders already.

This. Hard to have sympathy when you bring on the problems yourself.

Seldom do these terrorist groups pitch their tents outside an ally's ministry.

Thanks, Merkel!

Very sad, and I wanted to visit Belgium to get a better taste of all their delicious beers.... Might have to delay that a few more years 🙁

Thanks GW and Dick.
You just couldn't leave it alone now could you?

right this is GW fault.

You liberals have given these people free access to Europe and a bunch of handouts and they still hate you.

Maybe its time to stop making excuses for Islam?

V.G. is probably waiting for the ISIS talking points memo before posting.

Obama wants them here as well.

And because of that and the events in Belgium, Trump will get more supporters. 🙁

Considering the screening that genuine refugees need to go through (UN Camp, interviews with UN, interviews with State Dept, not choice in what country they get sent to; and the kind that Obama was speaking about), I'm not particularly worried about them. There are real people that want no part in the fighting caught in the middle of this conflagration and it's the right thing to do. Plus, from a national security perspective, it will aide us in our soft power when we stand up and do the morally right thing.

And at least some of the Paris attackers were also French or Belgian nationals. So I don't see how stopping refugees would even stop such attacks.

It's terrible what happened in Belgium today. Hearing about the Belgium government in recent months, it sounds like they need to get their shit together. There is too much infighting between the different language groups in Belgium, leading to vast inefficiencies in their government (to say the least).

uh huh. people said the same about the ones in Europe.

You have a bunch of sets of people in Europe:

UN-resettled refugees, people that have simply walked across the borders and self-resettled, and people that are European nationals that have been radicalized. How does stopping refugees stop the last group of people?

No matter how logical you may sound, suicide bombers and terrorists who are not afraid to die for their cause will always trump your logic, no pun intended.

Hilary just came out, she blamed a video.
Merkel also came out, she said anyone speaking against immigration will be labeled a far right terrorist and should be arrested.

Yes, because borders are magical things that stop bad people.

Even if ~13m Syrian refugees didn't exist, ISIS would still be doing what they're doing. If you think that helping people who are fleeing war is a bad thing, you have a right to your opinion (I just hope you don't attempt to claim the moral high ground on any topic at any point soon), but those refugees have to go somewhere. Would you prefer to have that many people running around with little to lose (PS - people with little to lose are much more vulnerable to radicalization of any sort) and with no reason to hold you and your nation in any positive regard?

One other note - when developed nations attempt to wash their hands of a mass refugee problem with NIMBY-ist thinking, situations like Israel/Palestine occur.

Thats fine and dandy. Its good you want to let in the population of the middle east into your EU and give them a big helping hand. If you want to help thats fine just be prepared for the occasional explosions as the cost of doing business.
