A little bit ago we had a day with a high above 60 followed immediately with a day with lows in the teens. We were carrying groceries in when we heard a loud BANG from the garage. Went out to see what happened at it looked like a crime scene

A 2 liter of soda split lengthwise from the pressure of being frozen and shot the cap around so it landed in the top door shelf

That's what you get for buying Beringer.

That's un-American. If you're going to have an explosion in your garage you should do it like the rest of us and have a meth lab accident.

I was wondering if someone would comment on that. A family member on my wife's side likes it and likes it really cold. Our wines are not stored like that
... I'll give you a pass for that, but only because we have friends of the family that are the same.

At least that's not that much of a mess to clean up. It could be worse.

Just keep repeating that line to yourself while cleaning it up.

Life pro tip: If you put a fridge in an unheated garage in the winter, it converts it into a freezer, whether or not it's plugged in. :p
