When I click on Windows Explorer this error message appeared "explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program." in Win2k Professional. Once the error message appeared it keeps poping up everytime I click explorer until I reboot. Once rebooted same message appears again. Any suggestion beside reinstalling Win2k. Please help.

Thanks

cant you extract a fresh copy of explorer.exe from the cab files on your cd??? im not sure if you can, if it is actually explorer.exe causing the problem, if its corrupted or something, then find someone with win2k and have them give you a copy of explorer.exe. otherwise, try running the win2k installation, not reformat and all that, but run it from windows, and it (might) repair whatever the problem is. also, try searching on ms's knowledge base. you might find a solution there.
