Explorer at 99% Processing??

my Task Manager is listing Explorer (Not Internet Explorer) at 99% processing.... is there a reason why its hogging processing power? It's really bogging down my computer.

That is a system error.

Try and isolate the problem if you can through basic means.

Have you tried closing explorer in task manager (end task) and then selecting new task, run, explorer.exe?

Best way to restart the windows shell to see what the problem is
