Explorer alternative without auto sort

Any explorer alternatives that act and feel almost the same as the explorer in windows (either XP or 7), expect it does not auto sort (auto sort is when a file will be auto sorted to its locating in a folder instead of staying at the top of the list)?

I can even live with a different look and new functionality, but its critical that it does not auto sort files until I 'refresh' it myself.

For me, in Windows XP, when I throw a file in a folder, it stays at that exact x,y spot even if I put it in an awkward place in between two files. It looks ridiculous and doesn't auto sort or align to grid or anything, it just keeps it in this random area I threw it in every time I go back to the directory. I'm not using the "list" format though, just it's default "tile style" of aligning the files to how big your window is (ie. 6 horizontal files by 7 vertical files so it shows 42 files on each screen).

I use the list or the details views. They are the only two views I use.

In windows XP it would conveniently sit at the top of the list, until I either reloaded that folder or refreshed that window.
