Exploding toads puzzle scientists

i thought i saw something like that was happening in minnesota or wisconsin. or maybe that was just dead toads. or something

The toads have decided to stand up against their oppression and are now launching suicide-bomb attacks?
 
Sooo... what happens if a fish or something ate the toad... THEN the toad exploded.
 
You can thank our search feature at the top of the forum page...I searched for "Toad" and it came up with 4 posts that were 2 months old.
