Ok I remember yesterday someone posted about the video where these guys remove the HSF from the intel P4 processor and an AMD processor and wanted to know where this was so I can post in it agian (don't know what to search for). Well Anyways as I was rewatching the video because some mentioned they think the guy use a firecracker, I noticed halfway through the intel video, as they are doing it agian I noticed some movement at the bottom of the screen and it looked like it was underneath the table...

Read the last few posts.. Its an obvious fake. My favorite is the mismatched colors of the cable leaving the video card and the one entering the monitor.

Still funny though.

i doubt very much they would explode

I have the video on my HDD but I don't know where to host it so finding it would be useful. Remember a bunch of people started calling it a hoax after seeing it, and after seeing what I just saw, I think it's most def a hoax.

thanks! Yes that is it.

ICs do shatter when overvolted/overheated. I don't know if a processor would react the same way, but it wouldn't surprise me in some circumstances. Much more likely though, you'll just get that lovely smell of burnt silicon.

How about a picture of a burnt 90 mhz Cyrix & melted mobo socket that was OC to 110 mhz on OEM heatsink & fan?

I'll check with my best friend for pics if he still have the melted dinosaur 🙂

Um... he overclocked a Duron spitfire to 3.82Ghz..... with a HS and no fan......riiiighhtt

edit: if you listen carefully, at 46.5seconds you hear him flick a cheap lighter on, or striking a match, to obviously light a firecracker under the cpu.
