Explain it simply to me then, along with what it does and why it is so important, without using the maths.
The buckets analogy is really all you need to understand it simply. Obviously the analogy is not 100% correct, but then, that's the point in using an analogy, and not explain it with math. To be honest, I really don't feel the need to compose an essay to satisfy your e-peen. There are enough resources on the net to read all that's necessary to handle the basic grasp as long as you have a decent math/science foundation. Lastly, it just seemed like a braggadocios "hey, look at my throwing around of big words" thread. If you really wanted to discuss it, why post in OT, and not take it right to Highly Technical?
