It's the G-Man from HL2. I'm not sure if that's actual in-game footage or if it's just a preconstructed setting for the screenshot. If that's where I think it is, the waterways portion, you don't have any weapons you can zoom with yet.

but anyhow, if you paste a link to someone without being on AT, it still takes you to the image, so something like that has to be the cause of it.

There was a thread in Software awhile back for G-man sightings in HL2. For some reason a lot of the pics in that thread got a HUGE number of hits. I have no idea how or why.

Oh that's right. The newest version, version 3, was written in such a way that it would be less anandtech-only-feeling to those who wanted to install and use the PICS software on their own pic hosting site. I forgot about that.
