Thanks, but it's no help to me as a subscription appears necessary. But since you appear to have access to the forms, just curious what form is page 18? The Form 990 I just pulled up has only 12 pages. Also the UBIT tax would be filed and reported/calculated on Form 990-T.

In any case since, as explained above, only the N.F.L. league office is treated as non-profit. I don't know exactly what the N.F.L. league office does but assuming it's just paying Goodell and officials' salaries income taxes will be paid.

How many people buy music because they saw the act during the super bowl halftime? Bruce Springsteen played the super bowl and I see he's rich and famous.

The NFL is the biggest game in town and they wield there power as they see fit. I could give a sh1t about the acts that perform or the halftime show at all. If the game is good I watch if not I don't -- halftime is for bathroom and doing stuff.

Same here.

I've always felt like the half time show is for those stuck in the stadium. I use halftime to make the next round of snacks and drinks etc.

Funny you mentioned this...

Articles coming out the last few days
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...halftime-performers-to-pay-for-the-privilege/

NFL wants the halftime performers to kick back a certain percent of their tour earnings to be able to perform at the halftime show of the superbowl.

How non-profit minded of them!

Well yeah, the guy in charge of said non profit needs to wet his beak right? What he get paid last year? $30 million?

So much time and money spent on something so ultimately useless, it's impressive in a cosmic sort of way. But hey, at least some team owners, players, and lobbyists are doing well. Just more socializing of costs and risks, while the benefits and rewards are privatized. Who does the NFL think it is, Exxon Mobil?
