so is the colonel a real guy or not? if not....then what's all that stuff from mgs about him being arrested and stuff? was that fake, too? and what about dr. naomi hunter? she had to be read cuz she strip searched snake. it is very confusing.

and so is ocelot the mastermind behind everything that happens and not liquid?

Don't even bother trying to understand it because that will only reveal how terrible the game is. If you ask me, that game shouldn't exist.
 
Summary of game:

1. Snake Raids Boat. End part 1.
2. Developers decide to smoke lots of crack, throw judgment to the wind.
3. Spend the next 14 hours playing as some fruity freak with no personality.
4. Game degenerates into a schizophrenic void of senseless plot.
5. Cut to poorly shot scene of NY streets which has nothing to do with anything.

Worst. Ending. Ever.
