best female gym attire i ever saw was on this smoking hot brunette. she was wearing this tiny terry cloth skirt. then she went to do some bench presses. turned out the only thing underneath the skirt was bare skin

I don't know if I agree with you. Guys may not notice consciously, but dress and grooming definitely change how you look. The right clothing will attract guys. Whether they think "nice dress" or "nice boobs" is another matter entirely.

No matter how hot you are, men's size large sweaters, sweat pants and hat hair don't attract guys.

Not the kind of guys who hang out in a gym, I'll grant you that.

I've heard this same statement from multiple friends, that often times females dress more--or at least equally as much--to impress other females as they do males.

I'm not saying it's the case for all, or even most, women, but I do know it happens.

Also, looser clothing tends to get hotter, IMO. I tried wearing capris today, and I was just dying :(

I hear this all the time too, I just think it's BS.

My gym is awesome. All the girls are rich, and hot and wear skimpy and tight clothes. I love it there.

I don't know about you guys, but when I go to the gym to get a weight workout, I rather not look at women. Yes they're nice eyecandy, but I don't go to the gym to look at women, there's better places for that. I go to get a good workout, and seeing women in tight clothes is just a distraction.

Sounds strange, but I'm totally serious.

I wear sweats. And teeshirt.

I am not there to pick up a guy, or look in the mirror. I am there to bust my ass, get fit and work hard.

Because they're attention whores. There's plenty of ways to exercise outside of the gym. Why do you think they're at the gym to begin with? For the attention.
