explain deja vu to me.

besides 'it's the glitch in the matrix'

the most logical explanation i've heard was that it occurs when your eyes and your brain missynchronize and the brain receives the image twice in miliseconds and it causes you to think that it happened before...

well?

It's a glitch in the Matrix. 😛

Seriously, I've always thought of deja vu as being when something really does happen to you that also really happened before. In other words, I don't see it as a misfire in your brain, although that's an interesting explanation.

not really because when deja vu happens to me.. it feels so REAL it's almost scary but yet i know it NEVER happened to me before..

example:
a classroom in HS felt VERY familiar.. the people, my friend's voice and all.. as if i experienced this.. but I know for a fact it never happened because at the time I just moved to the states from Korea a year or two ago.

Yeah.. when I woke up with that bald guy with his arms around me, in the gutter .. the way the rain was making my box cave in just seemed so familiar

That sounds so romantic.....(wipes tears).

deja vu is really scary for me.

Sometimes when I'm talking to someone I replay the stuff that they're going to say in my head, before they even say it. It's either because they're really predictable, or something is up. 😕

I have never gotten Deja Vu like you guys describe it. I always thought it was just a reoccurance, like when Byun Yun Kim gave up home runs to the Yankees two games in a row to blow a save in the World Series.
